delaydelay

This is second work of the series of my works with a theme of time and space, made with Max/MSP and Jitter. The original movie was shoot from a window of Shinkansen, super express in Japan. The rightmost small display is the original movie, and 100ms later, 2nd display from right side starts, then 3rd after next 100ms later, 4th and 5th follows as well. So, there are same amount of interval or delay for each windows. I made same delay for sound, and pan so that you will hear sounds coming from each small window. The train goes right, and objects outside goes left, opposite direction. As train accelerates, you will see some buildings appears on disappearing from right side of window, it seems as if five windows are combined into one image.



This work had been exhibited in student exhibition at Ravensbourne Collage of Design and Communication, London, UK.
