Information and Schedule

IAMAS will hold an Open House on August 5th and 6th to introduce the school to the public. At the Open House, a wide variety of events including introductions to IAMAS faculty, students and research activities from various perspectives, offering contents that will lead to higher education and links to companies will be presented through public lectures, workshops, exhibitions of works and video screenings. Prospective students of IAMAS, individuals and companies who are interested in IAMAS activities and researches, we look forward to your visit.

What is IAMAS?

IAMAS consists of an Institute for masters course and a vocational school that takes pride in its specific curriculums. The two schools always work together as one, however we do not simply educate students to become artists and specialists, our goal is rather to capture various aspects of advance media from a cultural perspective by educating talented people to design the world of the future. Reflecting the wide range of studies offered at school from sciences to arts, graduates continue on successfully in a diversity of fields.

Introductions to each studio, course and project, a consultation cafe for prospective students, and the rooms the students and faculty of each studio and course carry out daily activities will be completely open to the public, and students' works and research projects will be exhibited. In addition, the consultation cafe will be established coinciding with the Open House for prospective students who are uncertain which studio or course to apply to. Also, students and faculty are there welcoming visitors meanwhile answering questions regarding concrete activities and research contents.
