The ICC Kids Program 2025, “Mixed Realities — Finding Your ‘Compass’ in the Information Jungle,” has been available for viewing at the NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC) since August 8, 2025. Tomoya Kashimada, a curator at the ICC, curated the exhibition, which gives visitors an opportunity to experience the “mixed realities” envisioned by the participating artists. What is Kashimada’s vision for exhibitions, shaped by his experience approaching them from multiple perspectives—as an exhibiting artist as well as a technician involved in venue arrangement? Professor Kyo Akabane, who served as a co-curator of the exhibition, spoke with Kashimada about his approach.
