In addition to his musical work, Joshua Kit Clayton writes audio/video software for San Francisco based Cycling'74. His recent focus has been a generalized framework for processing and visualizing matrix datasets. This framework may be used to generate/manipulate video, 3d vector graphics, audio, voxels, particle systems, linear algebra, text--i.e.any dataset which lends itself to a matrix representation. One of the goals has been to build a data neutral system which may be used to transcode data of one type to another, subverting its original meaning, allowing for creative interpretation.
