This apparatus constantly repeats the same movement. By solely relying on sight, it is no more than a monotonous, inorganic repetition. However, by continuously changing the “sound” assigned to this motion its appearance is drastically altered. It can appear heavy at times, and at other times more light, and graceful. The white spheres may even appear to be something else, transforming into all sorts of things. This work demonstrates how our visual reality can be disrupted and richly reconstructed through sound, and challenges the certainty of the reality we believe in.
