ライブ配信のコミュニケーションは対面のそれと違うようで似ている。実際に顔を合わせる訳ではないのに人はコミュニケーションをとる。思い出話をするように、噂話をするように、画面の向こうを知りたがる。コメント欄は部屋のようだ。この部屋ではたくさんの人間が言葉を発したり、リアクションをとったりする。しかしそこに身体はない。そして配信が終われば、皆出ていく。

Live-streaming communication is both different and similar to face-to-face communication. People communicate even though they don’t actually meet face-to-face. They want to know what’s behind the screen, to reminisce and to gossip. The comment section is like a room. There are many people in this room speaking and reacting. However, in that room they don’t have a physical form. And once the broadcast is over, everyone leaves.
