本作は、自己の形成に繋がるような他者との出会いが失われた現代の「同質化社会」に対し、自己を揺るがし変容させるような出会いを誘発する「庭」として提示する声の参与を伴うサウンドインスタレーションである。鑑賞者はスマートフォンを介し同質化社会に関する議論に参加する。多様な参加を受け入れ、わたしとあなたが揺さぶりあうことで中動態的な関係性が生成され続けるこの「庭」は、同質化社会への対抗となりうるだろうか。

This work goes against contemporary society’s “homogenized society” where encounters with others leading to the formation of oneself have been lost. This work posits a “garden” that induces transformative encounters, and is a sound installation that is accompanied by vocal participation. Viewers join the discussion via their smartphones. By embracing diverse forms of participation, and through the mutual unsettling of self and other, this “garden” continuously generates middle voice relationships. Is it possible for such a “garden” to serve as a counterforce to a homogenized society?
