近年、人工知能は目まぐるしい進化を遂げ、様々な分野で利用されるようになり人工知能を用いた技術に対する議論も一段落し、AIという言葉は人々に浸透している。人工知能が持つ能力の一部は既に人間を超えており、統計的処理や人間がすべき作業の一部を担うことのできる、私たちの生活を豊かにしてくれる新しい存在である。そして、これまで人工知能用いたアートは、古くから多くのアーティストや研究者が探求してきた。アートにおける人工知能はいくつかの役割を担ってきた。創作者をサポート・支援する、自ら行う芸術を目指す、などである。しかしここに、創作者を学習し共に影響を与えながら進化するためのAI、つまり創作者近似型の役割を加えることを提案する。著者自身を学習することによって、著者の思想が記録され保存されることで、自分自身と向き合うためのAIとなり、著者へ何かしらの影響を与える、または進化させることが可能ではないかと考える。
　このような状況を背景として、著者が扱っているライブコーディングを通じ、リアルタイムで作っていく緊張感やセッション的な考え方がクリエイティブな関係において創作者近似型AIとの協奏をどのように捉えられるのかを示すものである。作品《Inclusion》は、パフォーマンス作品であり、オリジナルシステムによる創作者近似型AIと著者の同時リアルタイムコーディングによって音を生成、および生成データを用いたデータビジュアライズによって構成される。このようにAIと人間による協働ライブコーディングを通して、新しい創作者近似型AIとその役割、およびそのAIを用いての協働ライブコーディングパフォーマンスは、新たなライブコーディングの形態を体現するとともに、新たなAIの領域の可能性を一人称による視点から示す。
　以上により、相互補完的ライブコーディングパフォーマンスを通して、AIによるコード提案や書き換えを同時に行うことで、想定していなかった変更による驚きや、新たに挑戦的な心持ちでのパフォーマンスなど、自身を再認識し創造することが達成できた。このAIは、著者とライブコーディングパフォーマンスのちょうど境目にあるインターフェースそのもので、著者自身はナラティブなパフォーマンス体験をしていたと捉えることができるのではないだろうか。

In recent years, artificial intelligence has evolved at a dizzying pace, and is being used in a variety of fields. Some of the capabilities of artificial intelligence exceed those of humans, giving it the ability to enrich our lives by taking over for some human tasks such as statistical processing. AI-powered art has been explored by many artists and researchers. In art, artificial intelligence in plays several roles: at some times supporting and assisting creators, at other times programmed to create art independently. Here, I propose a new role for AI that involves approximating the art creator, with human and AI learning and evolving alongside each other. AI that learns from the artist and preserves and records the artist’s thought can encourage artists to come face to face with themselves. This may have some influence on the artist and cause their work to further evolve.
　Against this background, this paper shows how the tension and session-like thinking created in real time through live coding can be conceived as a creative collaboration with AI. Inclusion is a performance piece composed using data visualization and sound generated by an original system in which the artist and AI simultaneously engage in real-time coding. This new collaborative role for AI and its use in performance indicates new possibilities in the field of AI and embodies a new form of live coding. In this mutually complementary performance, the AI’s activity of proposing and overwriting code leads to surprising, unexpected changes and sheds new light on performance itself. This AI is an interface at the boundary between performer and code, so the performer themselves can be seen as experiencing a narrative performance.
