In the childhood game called Kageokuri, one stares at the shadow of oneself on the ground for 20 seconds in a bright day, as one looks up, the reflection of one's image can be seen in the sky. When I was a child, this shadow game was different and stranger than others. Children often say, "The shadow's chasing after me," and "The mirror is copying me." Perhaps, this is our image that we feel behind us. As I compare the image of I that appears in front of my eyes to the image I that I potentially aware of, the image of I is perceived differently to the original I. I am interested in spaces where it is possible to this kind of experience, and in the things one sees through this experience.
