2021年10月1日から7日まで東麻布 Gallery oaにて、丸山翔哉さんと修士2年の天野真さんによる展覧会「son(IF)y.」が開催されます。天野さんは展示会場周辺をサウンドウォークする作品やノイズキャンセリング・フィルターをハックした作品、映像作品を展示します。

概要:
私たちは音を聴取している。
しかし、その音が社会システムによってmodifyされた音であることが当たり前となり、私たちはその音が生まれ、修正され、変化される過程について意識していない。つまり、私たちは音が立ち現れてから耳に届くまでの経路を持たない。ここで今一度「聴取」というプロセス全体について考える。個人的な行為として捉えられている「聴取」を、協同的ないしは共生的な行為へと転換させ、多様な聴取を存在させることが必要である。本展示会《son(IF)y.》では、私たちは社会との間にオルタナティブな関係性を築き、社会に対して主体的に介入することを促す。都市や社会システムに対して解体・介入を試み、そこに潜む音に耳を傾ける。

We listen to sounds.
However, it has become very common for the sound to be modified by social system, and we are not aware of the process by which the sound is generated, modified, and changed. In other words, we do not have a pathway from the actual appearance of sound to its reception by our ears. Now, we should once again think about the whole process of \”listening\”. It is necessary to transform \”listening\” from an individual action to a cooperative and symbiotic action, and to let various kinds of listening exist. In this exhibition “son(IF)y.”, we will make an alternative relationship with society and encourage proactive intervention. We will attempt to deconstruct and intervene in the city and its social systems, and listen to the sounds that are hidden there.
