'The Source' investigates the communication and deliberate mis- communication of scientific facts, taking the japanese bottled water industry as an example. The project questions the authority of facts, which focus on conveying an image of pure, untouched nature, therefore suggestion the purity of the products. 'The Source' operates with a real act of purification on the symbolic cleansing of the water, which is contaminated by being expossed to pseudo-scientific-like language. Can this act of purification revert the contaminated water to its natural, untainted state? And how will this water affect our body and mind?
