The individual in terms of the group, and the group in terms of the individual: The individual is assigned to the group, and the group is structured out of individuals. The relationship between the individual and the group is one wherein the two closely influence each other. The relationship between the person and society is similar. In this installation, algorithms of flock movement found in /boids/ are applied to the lines of sight of each of the faces projected on screen, thus creating a line of sight for each person within the pseudo-society, and a collective line of sight comprised of the movements of the lines of sight of each person. Further, the lines of sight for each of the faces on screen is affected by the viewer, thus expressing the elements of structure in the relationship between one's own line of sight and society's.
