Perhaps this is like knowing how to understand traces that are difficult to feel without expressing human sympathy or antipathy through words and gestures by directly feeling the traces. For example, one could say, "I am moved, and a fire burns within my breast." Or once could say, "This song penetrates deep inside my chest." But perhaps some people could infer the other person's feelings of "burning in their chest" or "penetrating their chest" by literally feeling the barely perceptible traces in the air. Further, this might be possible for both near and far places, even being able to grasp these feelings across the globe. I think a woman who could feel that way would be very alluring.
